Who is GiftsForGermany and where are you located?
We are located close to the french and german border, and less then 100 miles away from the UK, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. We are 50 minutes away from DHL’s main European Hub in Brussels, and 1 hour from TNT’s main European Hub in Liege – two of our main delivery partners serving our Europe gift basket deliveries the next day for us. We send daily gift baskets to Germany, fruit baskets, flowers and spa gifts.
Our Global Online Shop is our answer to serving customers who cannot visit our physical store that started back in 1990, but still want to suprise a friend our business partner in Berlin, Munchen or any other city in Germany. The first incarnation of our online store was FruitOfCourse.com offering delivery of
fruit gift baskets delivered in Germany. FruitOfCourse was selected as one of the top 5 Belgian E-Commerce sites only 10 months after its initial launch. GiftsForEurope and GiftsForGermany is the expanded version of the original site, featuring an expanded gift basket line, more services for corporate customers, and constant improvements to site design. We were named best Belgian e-commerce practice by the EU Kite Project in 2002. In 2006 we were awarded the silver prize in the B2B Ecommerce Awards (BeCommerce is leading the Belgian Ecommerce Association). In 2007 we acquired a high-end flower company – allowing us to deliver flowers and flower-gift-creations in 6 countries including
flowers to Germany from one central facility.
As a result today GiftsForGermany specializes in the delivery of gift baskets, gifts and flowers throughout Germany and Europe. We also offer deliveries to Non-EU destinations such as Japan, Australia, and the USA of unique gifts such as Belgian chocolates that are difficult or impossible to find locally. In short: our team of 18 full-time and 25 part-time employees are here to help you with any international gift basket challenge you may have.
Where do I start?
You can
start shopping our gift baskets for delivery in Germany by simply following this hyperlink . The geographical location is default set to Germany but can be changed at anytime. The country of destination important to calculate the exact shipping costs per area per gift. We also choose to do this because we pre-select the products deliverable in these countries - that are most appropriate for the region. It also allows us to inform you about the total price, including shipping and all gift taxes or duties in Germany. No surprises at the end for you or for the recipient of the gift in Germany!
How are the gifts delivered?
We offer international gift delivery service throughout Europe and to many countries outside Europe Mondays through Fridays using FedEx, DHL or TNT Express mainly.
